1. Facade external blinds

These external blinds are verge-mounted on the building facade. The blind is installed in a self-supporting extruded case that forms the blind frame along with the round, sturdy guide rails. The blind can be mounted on the building only by using the special guide rail brackets. All our types of blinds with slat tracks in the guide rail, i.e. slats with guiding pins, can be used with this system.

Advantages of facade blinds:

  • They are suitable for facade envelopes where blinds cannot be mounted in a standard way due to the low envelope thickness or inadequacy of the substrate for standard installation.
    • They do not affect heat insulation of the building.
    • They can be installed without the risk of building leakage.
    • They add a distinctive architectural element to the facade.

2. STF 1 self-bearing system

External blinds with the STF 1 self-bearing system are designed for mounting in the window frame where the blinds with sturdy guide rails form one unit mounted on the building at a time. The STF 1 system features visible guide rails but hidden fasteners. This mounting system is easily customisable as the blind can be mounted with an aluminium cover, without a cover (the blind is hidden in the ready-made space under the facade), or with an ISO-KASTL case used under the plaster.

Advantages of STF 1 self-bearing systems:

  • Faster installation (mounting of blinds on windows at the factory)
    • Minimised time spent on-site
    • Greater variability of installation methods on the building

   3. STF 2 self-bearing system

External blinds with the STF 2 self-bearing system are designed for mounting on the window frame. The blind with the guide rails form one unit mounted on the building at a time. In the STF 2 system, the sturdy guide rails of the blind are designed for mounting into the facade insulation, and the fasteners are also hidden. After mounting on the window frame, an aluminium or plastic backing is inserted in the guide rail to guide the guiding pins of the slats. This mounting system is easily customisable as the blind can be mounted with an aluminium cover, without a cover (The blind is hidden in the ready-made space under the facade.), or with an ISO-KASTL case used under the plaster.

Advantages of STF 2 self-bearing systems:

  • Faster installation (mounting of blinds on windows at the factory)
  • Minimised time spent on-site
  • Greater variability of installation methods on the building

4. STL self-bearing system

The self-bearing system STL with two sturdy guide rails is designed for fast external blind mounting to a ready-made space under the facade. The external blind is firmly fixed to the guide rails using special brackets, thus forming one self-bearing unit to be mounted at a time. After mounting, an aluminium or plastic backing is inserted in the guide rails of the blind to guide the guiding pins of the slats.

Advantages of STL self-bearing systems:

  • Fast and less expensive mounting of the external blind
  • No interference with the window frame
